Timber species for outdoor applications: Bangkirai, Massaranduba, Cumaru, Merbau, Tatajuba or Ipe are characterized by very high resistance to biological destruction in varying atmospheric conditions. This is the result of high density of timber and its high tan content. Durability of these species, even without impregnation, is several times higher than that of impregnated pine.
The dense structure results in a beautiful, smooth surface and the broad palette of colours varying from sunny yellows to mahogany browns and reds, create a unique climate of your surroundings. The terrace board and other IDECK/IDECK Clip products are highly valued materials used by designers and contractors for the construction of open air swimming pools, restaurant terraces, arbours, patios, walkways, fencing, elevations, and for designing public recreation sites. All species of timber come in the first class of durability, may well be used for external decks and preserve their mechanical properties even for decades to come.
